The new Eye-Fi card will take photos in my Nikon D200, however it won’t wirelessly upload. Turns out the company doesn’t support adapter cards. But, all is not lost. I popped the SD card in our Canon Digital Elph and it immediately uploaded all images to Flickr and my laptop wireless — and fast! How cool is that? Looks like I’m going to try and sell my D200 and buy an SD-card based Nikon DSLR in the future!

With Spring comes motivation. I’m running two miles a day again. In recent years, injuries have plagued my best intentions. Especially this past year, I’ve been gaining weight and becoming complacent. So far this season, my feet are holding up. We’ll see! As for now, I’m headed for the door and another run!
This is a self portrait from my daily 365 project in 2009. We went camping near Chuncheon, east of Seoul, over Labor Day Weekend. This is a 30-second exposure on my tripod. It was very dark, but the long exposure and rear-flash setting at the end of the exposure makes it deceptively bright!
Just time for a quick studio shot with a bit of Adobe Lightroom post-processing! We did the obligatory PX/Commissary run with lunch at Burger King. I took CJ swimming while Mom and Patrick napped. Relaxing Sunday here!
What a blast! Jennifer and I hit the dirt trail on ATVs for an awesome morning. I should have left the camera behind! It kept pounding my wrist! But I’m glad I got this shot. We flew to the Island of Jeju far south from South Korea. The island is a tropical paradise and the site of many honeymoons and vacations. We are celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary!
… where the escape key it? Many people ask if this is Photoshop. Well, no it’s not! I first took a studio snap of myself with my hands in the air looking off to the right. I saved that image as the background on the new iMac. The rest is lighting. Actually, I took multiple shots with the camera on a tripod. Each shot I moved the flash off camera to highlight different parts of the scene. Here’s where I used Photoshop! I blended the resulting shots into one! And when I was done, I drank the beer!
Tonight after work I hit the river run again. This time I ran to Hangang Bridge and back to our apartment. That’s an easy 5K and it took me 40 minutes. I’m no speed demon, that’s for sure. My right foot has been complaining from all the running, but I’m trying to work through the pain and keep the momentum going for my summer running season. Note: to take this photo, I set the camera up on a minitripod, framed the shot and pressed the shutter. It has a 10-second timer, so I ran down, did a U-turn and ran into frame. It’s fast and easy! Army Strong! 
It’s been a year since I did this Photoshop project and people still ask how I did it. C’mon! It’s magic! The original was against a white wall. This is remastered with a texture courtesy Paul Grand.
