Convenient, yes. But when you see shots like this appear on your Flickr page, you just have to grin. Patrick, our 4-year-old, has no idea he automatically uploaded this photo to the Internet!

The snow is really melting fast! Perfect snowman weather 
It’s fun with my fisheye lens! The Nikkor 10.5mm lens is awesome for including so much in the composition. I used a Nikon SB-600 TTL Flash with the BL setting to get Patrick lit. This is a challenge with the sun directly behind him. The kids had a good time in the snow.

Today is the Lunar New Year! Welcome to the Year of the Tiger. Our daughter dressed up in her traditional Korean dress last night for our Skype call to the family back in Seoul. Today is the day to honor the ancestors, pay homage to the family elders and eat, eat, eat! Happy New Year!

Patrick at the Playground

Our son, Patrick, enjoys some time at the Dragon Hill Lodge Playground in Seoul. We lived in the hotel for our last month in Korea. Admittedly it was cramped in the small hotel room; however, we access to good restaurants (free food) and the playground. It was tough because after the DHL, we traveled to Maryland and lived in another hotel for a month before moving into our house. We are both very proud of the kids for the major life change we went through moving to America!
